People Over Politics

Common sense leadership for Brunswick. I am dedicated to fiscal responsibility and putting people first in every decision I make.

Ravi Jackson, House District 101
Smiling Candidate for House in a suit and yellow tie.

MESSAGE

Hi, I’m Ravi Jackson, a husband, a father, a legal immigrant, and a small business owner. I have 5 years experience in law, 10 years in government, and 10 years in technology.

I’ve lived in Brunswick for over 15 years and have seen it change significantly over this time, but not always for the best.

I believe that it's time for a change at the state level, and that you deserve someone who is going to listen to your voice, and vote for you and your interests, and not for the party interests.

I believe in common sense, fiscal responsibility, and people before politics.

If you’re ready for a change in the right direction, vote for me in November.

BIO

Of Indian descent, I was born in London, and have lived in Maine since 2006. I have been married for 22 years, and I am the father of two girls, one in Brunswick High school, and one at the United States Naval Academy. I have attended the same church for the past 10 years. I like to travel, read, and cook.

I have an undergraduate degree in Christian Ministry and Psychology, establishing a peer-to-peer counseling center in college. I attended law school in London, and studied Accounting at USM. I have worked in law, government (Maine Judicial Branch, and at the Governor's Office), and in the technology sector.

I believe that my skills in finance, law, psychology, governance, and technology will be of tremendous benefit to properly represent House District 101. My diverse personal and professional background make me uniquely qualified to lead in a fresh way, with a compassionate heart, an open mind to listen to your concerns, and the necessary experience to represent you in a meaningful and effective way. I believe in the value of hard work, fiscal responsibility, common sense, collaboration, and people over politics.

Brunswick is a unique and wonderful place to live, work, raise children, and to enjoy time in. We need a voice that will honor this and not simply be a rubber stamp for the party’s own agenda and partisan politics. Help me, to help you have your voice heard.
